Oceania Cruises was formed in 2002 by luxury cruise industry veterans Frank Del Rio and Joe Watters. Best in class cuisine, itineraries, and outstanding value define Oceania Cruises’ five-star product and quickly positioned the company as the cruise line of choice for luxury cruisers.

The onboard atmosphere is relaxed and reminiscent of the casual elegance of a country club. Tuxedos and gowns are never a requirement for dining. The overall feeling is one that is never stuffy and void of any pretension.

Passengers will enjoy the flexibility of four open seating restaurants, so they dine when, where and with whom they choose. The 5-Star menus are crafted under the meticulously watchful eye of renowned master chef Jacques Pepin, the Executive Culinary Director. Host of numerous public television series, he is one of America’s best known chefs, food columnists and cook book authors. He has also served as the personal chef to no less than three French heads of state, including Charles de Gaulle.

The line’s three intimate and luxurious 684-guest ships, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica, feature itineraries to Antarctica, Amazon, Baltic, Black Sea, British Isles, Greek Isles, Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, North Cape, Scandinavia, Central America, the Caribbean, South America and Panama Canal.  The itineraries have been tailored to include many overnight port stays to allow passengers to immerse themselves in the history, culture and local flavor of the region.
