An Alaska cruise offers some of the most exquisite and breathtaking scenery in the world.  The vast landscape of glaciers, towering mountains, remote villages and infinite, dense forests, along with the impressive variety of majestic wildlife, make Alaska one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world.

About 30 ships from 13 different cruise lines sail through the water’s of Alaska. The two most popular routes are the seven day Vancouver to Vancouver cruise and the ten day Vancouver to Seward cruise. Other Alaska cruises begin in Seattle, Washington. No matter what cruise ship or line you take, or what route you see, you will be sure to see some of the most amazing creatures and scenery available in the world.

The Alaska cruise season run from May to September with the most popular months in July and August. September offers superb fall foliage scenery, however the weather may not be ideal. During May, there are many beautiful wildflowers to see for those flower lovers. During the summer months, sightings of humpback whales are frequent and Orca whales are often seen during June and July. Massive bears and bald eagles are seen year round.

There are many activities available at the ports of an Alaska cruise. Fishing, flying over glaciers, panning for gold, hiking and kayaking are only some of the exciting activities available.
